Divine Canine Solutions (DCSDOGS) is a dog training business at 645 Goodwin Street in East Hartford led by dog life coach Ricky Jones, who says he has spent 10+ years training dogs and has traveled the country competing and performing in dog sports. Its mission is compassionate, long-lasting results that strengthen the relationship between dogs and their owners.

Method

The Divine Canine Way uses reinforcement, rewards, exercise, play, mental work, consistency, structure and maintenance, with a focus on teaching dogs to think and offer behaviors and on giving them a job.

Programs

Offerings include private dog training lessons, behavioral lessons for dogs 6 months and older, puppy training for 8 weeks to 6 months, online training programs and outdoor group classes. Lessons tackle manners at home such as jumping on guests, window barking, counter surfing and crate training; yard issues like recall, fence fighting and digging; and public skills such as leash pulling, reactivity to dogs and people, and off-leash work.
