Petco Dog Training in Manchester teaches classes inside the Petco pet store, where trainers focus on positive reinforcement and practical skills for everyday life. Adult dog training works on reinforcing good habits, leash manners, managing unwanted behaviors and helping dogs adjust to new environments.
Group classes
Each six-week group course costs $149 and meets for an hour with up to four other dogs. Puppy (8 to 16 weeks) covers potty training, socialization and foundational cues. Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait and tricks. Fundamentals (6+ months) works on sit, down, come, wait and curbing jumping and barking, and Advanced (6+ months) covers heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.
Private lessons
Private sessions run 45 minutes with a certified trainer. A $39 Private Lesson 101 is available to new customers, and packages cost $249 for 4 sessions or $329 for 6, with flexible scheduling and a customized training plan.
