About Dog Training Elite Augusta

What they do

This is the Augusta branch of the Dog Training Elite franchise, and its programs are the broadest set in the metro. Obedience and puppy work form the base, with puppy classes covering early socialization and first commands. Group training puts obedience skills into a social setting. Off-leash training is presented as a specialty – the branch writes that it specializes in "Augusta off-leash training" – and there is a dedicated track for anxiety and aggression. Above that sit service dog training, which the branch describes as preparing dogs for mobility assistance, autism support and PTSD service work, and therapy dog training for comfort and emotional-support roles. A canine academy and a boot-camp format handle dogs needing intensive, focused work.

How it runs

In-home is the default delivery: the branch argues that training in the dog's own environment is the most effective route, and offers a free in-home consultation and temperament assessment before any package is bought. Packages are customized rather than fixed, payment plans and financing are advertised, and the site directs enquiries through a zip-code lookup to the local trainer.

Coverage

The branch lists its catchment as Augusta and the surrounding towns, naming Appling, Blythe, Evans, Fort Gordon, Grovetown, Harlem and Hephzibah among them. Training happens at the client's home or in public.
