About Dog Training Elite Suncoast Facility

Home sessions first, then classes

Dog Training Elite Suncoast Facility is the Clearwater training location of the Dog Training Elite Suncoast team. Training starts with in-home sessions that involve every family member and address behaviors specific to the dog's own environment. Once basic commands are solid, dogs move on to group classes to practice in busier settings. The team describes its methods as balanced and says positive reinforcement is part of every program.

Programs

Obedience training covers commands in distracting environments, and puppy training takes in housebreaking, socialization and basic commands. Service dog training prepares dogs for roles such as mobility assistance, autism support and PTSD service, and therapy dog training focuses on comfort and emotional support. Anxiety and aggression work uses what the team calls a balanced, safe and careful approach. Class formats include dog boot camps for complex behavior issues, puppy classes, obedience schooling and an academy for service work. Behavior help covers leash walking, barking, separation anxiety, jumping, recall, boundary training and vehicle behavior. A military and veteran discount is offered.

What owners say

One client wrote that after a two-week day camp and bi-monthly group classes, their 80lb lab "has come to learn his manners" and the couple are now "equipped with the tools to properly guide our dog."
