About Dog Training of Tampa Bay, Inc.

Balanced training in Plant City

Dog Training of Tampa Bay, Inc. is a dog training business in Plant City (FL 33565) with the tagline World-Class Results. Local Expertise. No Gimmicks. No Pills. It brings in Ivan Balabanov, whom it describes as ranked number one in the world twice and as the most sought-after dog training expert in the world, and says hundreds of dog owners trust it with lasting behavior transformation.

Philosophy

The business sees dogs as intelligent, emotional partners and bases its approach on decades of experience, behavioral science, and canine motivation and genetics. It states that over 90% of behavior issues stem from a breakdown in communication. Rather than asking how to stop a behavior, the trainers ask what inside the dog drives it and what reinforces it, then build a plan that aligns with the dog's genetics and instincts. It calls the approach balanced, ethical and customized, teaching the dog how to behave instead of suppressing behavior with medication.

Services

Programs run from puppy foundations to elite-level competition training, including accelerated board and train, problem behaviors and modification, advanced obedience, advanced off-leash work and competitive dog sports. Owners can send the dog in or do the training themselves with expert guidance.

What to ask

Ask about program pricing, how long the accelerated board and train lasts, and which trainers work with your dog.
