Hound To Human Dog Obedience Training is a locally owned Lakeland trainer that works exclusively in private sessions, held at a local dog park or in the client's own home. It focuses on building a trust-based relationship between owner and dog, using positive reinforcement, treat lure training and redirection. Any size, any breed and any issue is welcome.

Classes

Basic Obedience (from $50 per hour) covers housebreaking, polite leash walking, recall, sit and stay, ignoring distractions and stopping jumping, barking and chewing. 'Trick' Classes (from $65 per hour) teach shake, roll over, spin, target, retrieve and more. 'Problem Dog' Classes (from $100 per hour) address bite inhibition, reactivity, door dashing, cat or dog reactivity, leash pulling and resource guarding; dogs in these classes wear a muzzle pending an initial evaluation. The trainer also works on fearful, anxious and aggressive behavior.
