What they offer

Doggy Jitsu is a private dog training and rehabilitation service founded in Los Angeles in 2018. Its lead trainer came to the work through rescue and shelter dog rehabilitation and focuses on calm, confident, respectful dogs and on teaching owners the tools to keep it going.

Programs

In-home sessions start with an assessment of the causes of unwanted behavior and cover obedience, off-leash recall, housebreaking, loose-leash walking, destruction, obsessiveness and socialization, with phone support between sessions. Board and train is a multi-week program in the trainer's home for anything from puppy foundations to harder cases such as anxiety or aggression. The business also offers daycare and overnight boarding.
