I had been struggling with some behavioral challenges with my Texas Heeler, Lucy. Lucy is 3.5 years old and a very good dog, but as a Heeler/Aussie mix she is extremely high energy and very driven. Walking had become stressful due to constant pulling and anxiety, and she was difficult to control around strangers and other dogs. Lucy is definitely a velcro dog and can get very overstimulated.

Donald arrived exactly as scheduled and came fully prepared with the tools and knowledge needed to help us succeed. After just four sessions, the improvement has been incredible. Lucy can now go on walks without the constant pulling and darting, and we have even been able to work on controlled off-leash interactions at the dog park using fence boundaries.

It has made such a difference — walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful.

Donald gave me the tools, guidance, and feedback needed to help correct these behaviors. Lucy and I put in the work, and consistency is key, but the results speak for themselves. We still have a couple more sessions planned to continue working on real-world interactions, but the improvement so far has truly been night and day.
