About Drummond Ranch Inc.

What they offer

Drummond Ranch is a sheep herding training facility on Angeles Forest Highway that teaches dogs and their owners to work livestock. Its classes use a small flock of sheep and are guided by experienced trainers.

Classes

An Introduction to Sheep Herding instinct test evaluates a dog's natural herding instinct, with a trainer's assessment, notes on the dog's herding style and a written report with training recommendations. Sheep Herding Classes run as a four-week session, one class a week with two lessons per class, and focus on confidence, control and teamwork. The ranch describes herding as a fast-growing dog sport that suits working breeds and curious companions alike.

Visiting

The ranch posts directions and a local weather forecast for class days and sells gift certificates for its classes.
