About My Dog is My Rock, LLC

What they offer

My Dog is My Rock is a training and dog care business on Soledad Canyon Road in Acton, founded in 2008 by Emily Roach. It specializes in the care and rehabilitation of difficult dogs and aims to teach owners as well as dogs.

Programs

The puppy program sets up a clear learning system, play boundaries and communication for new puppies, with an in-home distance-learning module for puppies 8 to 12 weeks old and board-and-train options for puppies from 13 weeks to 5 months. Private lessons are given in the client's home or at the ranch for first-time owners and experienced handlers alike. The board-and-train program works on behavior at home and out, including socialization with people and other dogs.

Other services

The ranch also runs a day school and daycare and offers boarding, and it sets aside part of its proceeds for a foundation that helps families in need train challenging pets.
