We used Janice 4 or 5 years ago for our two dogs. We’ve since lost one of those dogs but acquired a new dog and used what we learned from Janice on the newer dog. Janice rocks! Highly recommend.

I have a cocker spaniel that is the alpha, and was getting very possessive of me not letting her brother get near us. She started growling at him and giving him stink eye, and he would slink away to his dog bed and was no longer sitting with us on the couch. He looked and acted like he was getting depressed. 😢
Jan worked with us over the phone and patiently explained the psychology behind what they were doing and was able to help me figure out what I was doing that was exacerbating the problem. We made a few small changes and now everyone is happy!! Thank you so much for your insight and willingness to help! I’ll be calling for ongoing training tips as even though they are 10 and 11 years old I think with your help, I can teach these old dogs new tricks!

I emailed Janice at Ensign K9 Training to see if she could help me with a fearful dog. She responded quickly and scheduled time to discuss. She took time to learn about the dogs and our concerns and laid out a detailed plan for us to follow. I am very impressed with her knowledge of dog behavior and her communication with me. We will definitely be contacting her for additional training needs.

Thanks again Jan. Jasmine is so well behaved since you worked with her. She no longer barks at everything and if she has good reason to bark,( such as chasing foxes out of the yard), she obeys when we want her to stop. Even her friend the mailman can’t believe her improvement. She also has become so easy to walk. thanks to your work with her. We took her to a nursery for the first time and so many people came up and petted her and several commented on how well behaved she was. We had to look at the end of the leash to make sure it was Jasmine they were talking about! We will recommend you to anyone who would like their dog to be trained in a professional and kind manner. Jan came to our home to work with me, my husband & 4 Dachshunds. We had multiple issues to address. We are beyond impressed with her knowledge, patience and ability to accomplish so much in such a short period of time. Following her instructions will allow us to correct the issues we have faced.
