Excel Dog Training was started in 1990 in St. Cloud. Its trainer, Margaret, began training dogs over 40 years ago in the St. Cloud community and served for part of that time as acting Director of Training for the Granite City Kennel Club.
Approach
The business believes dog ownership and training are all about relationship and understanding between owner and dog, and that all dogs, young and old, deserve to be trained. Training is built on positive reinforcement, which it says helps dogs respond faster and stay happier, while its programs combine the best of old and new philosophies.
Classes
Advanced obedience classes are offered for anyone interested in, or already, showing in obedience, agility and conformation.
