About Finlayson’s Pet Care Center

Training, grooming and daycare in Chichester

Finlayson's Pet Care Center is a pet care business at 14 King Road in Chichester that combines dog training with grooming and daycare. Its training menu is broad: private lessons, a puppy class, Level 1 and Level 2 obedience, Canine Good Citizen, therapy dog certification, off lead work, rally at novice or intermediate level, K-9 Brainiac, tricks, pack walks, service dog training, drop-in sessions and show handling.

More than classes

The center also runs daycare and night camp, a program called One Year of Training, and Granite State Service Dogs, which takes puppy and dog applications. Its pages feature English Setters, Labrador Retrievers and Cardigan Welsh Corgis. General inquiries go through a contact form and get a reply by the following weekday, and grooming appointments are booked by phone, Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm. The inquiry form lets owners choose between private lessons, group lessons and daycare.

What to ask

Ask about class schedules and pricing, the training methods each program uses, who teaches the classes, and how the service dog and One Year of Training programs work.
