About Fun Pup Dog Sports

What they offer

Fun Pup Dog Sports is a dog agility school in northeast Fort Collins, with an outdoor ring on a packed sand surface off Hwy 14 (E. Mulberry), about 6 minutes east of I-25. It offers small group agility classes and private lessons for dogs new to the sport and for experienced handlers, and experienced agility students can rent the field for practice.

How they train

"Every dog is the best dog!" says the site, which describes positive reinforcement for dogs and people alike and allows a maximum of six dogs per class. It names Melissa Bishop as the instructor and credits her with more than 25 years of training dogs. The site says she is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and a CCPDT Certified Dog Training Professional, and that her dogs have earned agility championship titles.

Good to know

The exact address is shared on registration. Group classes require vaccinations for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella, and the site names a non-agility Level 2 class or equivalent as the prerequisite for Agility Foundations. Class schedules and registration are posted on its website and Facebook page.
