About Gen1 K9 LLC

What they offer

Gen1 K9 trains family pets to do well in everyday, real-life situations, with the motto Training Dogs, Educating Humans. Training aims to build healthy, harmonious bonds between owners and their dogs through practical, real-world work.

About the trainers

Owner and head trainer Lorena began training about a decade ago through rescue work, preparing her own dogs and hundreds of fostered dogs for new homes. Assistant trainer Denise, a military spouse who moved to Washington in 2022, works alongside her. Client stories on the site describe help with leash walking for a rescued German Shepherd and an older dog.
