About GoDog West Nashville

GoDog West Nashville is one location of a multi-state pet-hospitality brand founded in 2018, with other campuses in Durham and Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and Nexton, South Carolina. Training is one of four services here, not the main event – and knowing that ordering matters when you are shortlisting.

What the training actually is

The site is specific and modest about scope: "Certified positive-reinforcement training improves your relationship with your dog", covering a named set of foundational skills – sit, down, place, come when called, focus and loose-leash walking. That is a manners-and-foundations offer delivered alongside daycare and boarding, not a behavior-modification practice. There is no published program length, price or trainer name, and nothing on the site addresses reactivity, aggression or anxiety work.

The rest of the campus

Daycare runs full days of exercise and structured socialization, with dog-size-specific play yards, temperament testing for every dog, and livestream camera access. Boarding is positioned as a second home with individual accommodations and daycare or playtimes included. Bathing covers baths, nail trims and brush-outs at dedicated wash stations. The campus features an HVAC system the brand markets as a "no smell" design, an Aquavac cleaning system, anti-slip epoxy flooring, sound baffling, pools, safe play structures and canine-grade turf. There is a dog park bar on the campus. Cats are accepted too.

Scale

The brand states more than 1,500 five-star reviews and 20,400 dogs served across its locations since 2018. Its stated mission is "to be the premier expert in pet hospitality by providing unparalleled care, comfort, and love for dogs".

Who this suits

West Nashville owners who want daycare or boarding as the primary need with positive-reinforcement foundation training available on the same campus. Owners whose main problem is reactivity, aggression or anxiety should look at a dedicated behavior practice instead and ask GoDog directly what its trainers handle.
