About Good DaweG

Dog training in Houston

Good DaweG is a Houston dog training business run by owner Wesley Dawe with his associate Anthony Mason. It has offered training programs in the Houston area for over 6 years, and Wesley and Anthony are credited with well over 10 years of hands-on experience training dogs of their own. The business focuses on educating owners on the best ways to strengthen their relationship with their dogs.

Training options

Board & Train has a dog stay for a set time so the trainers can focus on its specific needs and solidify its skills. Private Lessons take place at the owner's home, working with the dog in its own environment. Day Training lets owners drop a dog off during business hours for one-on-one basic obedience work, and Virtual Training is one-on-one coaching by live video call. A meet and greet can be scheduled by phone.

What owners say

One client wrote of their private lessons: "After 5 lessons we have been able to see so much improvement during our walks. Kuzco no longer takes off running the second the front door opens, is walking close to my side during majority of the walk." Another said that after a board and train their puppy "walks wonderfully on a leash and is no longer reactive to other dogs and people at all."

What to ask

Ask about pricing and program length for each option and where board and train dogs stay.
