I was looking for someone to train Eddie. H W dog training was referred to me from a groomer.
I called and spoke to Sadie who was the receptionist She asked several questions and when i said he was a bitter she wasn’t shocked.

We set up a home interview and when Hans was finished explaining his program we shook hands and off Eddie went for the next 3 weeks
At the end of the 3 weeks I went to the training center to pick up Eddie.

Hans put Eddie through his lesson gave me homework and an assortment of tools. We went home and I was thrilled with my new boy. .

Eddie is a new dog. Well trained and worth every penny. We practice every day he now sleeps with me almost every night and I look forward to our next session.

Our 1 1/2 year old German shepherd did a 3 week board and train at H.W. Dog Training. Hans is amazing with the dogs. They respect him and you can see how much they want to please him.

We are celebrating Tatum’s 1-year graduation from HW dog training 3-week board and train program, and I would like to thank Hans @HW dogtraining for coming into our life and not only training both of my dogs but truly listening, understanding the dynamics of our home, and tailoring his training to each dog’s personality.
I don’t usually write reviews but feel so strongly about the well-being of dogs and the incredible training abilities of Hans, that I hope this will help someone’s pup in the future.
Quickly I want to tell you all the ways my life has changed— from chaos and restrictions to peace and freedom. Tatum was a reactive puppy who would aggressively bark and lunge at people and other dogs. This became such a problem I had to limit outside time and interactions. Now, after training, she takes daily walks at the park, maintains her place, and walks off-leash with good recall, and even visits local coffee shops.
Kobie, my nervous shepherd was so fearful of e-collars due to poor training techniques of another local training company. Hans was able to rebuild her trust, reshape this connection, and now she wears her collar daily without anxiety and enjoys going basically everywhere with me.
Lastly, if you become relaxed with structure, it is so easy to get back on track with the education and training tools Hans teaches. You will never feel rushed with Hans and he will never give up on your dog. This is the kind of relationship all pet parents want with their trainer.
