Happy Homes Dog Daycare and Training is a veterinary personnel owned and operated daycare and training facility on Bradley Road in Woodbridge. Owner Kristen Iannucci is a certified veterinary technician with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University and almost 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Fear Free Certified. She describes herself as passionate about positive reinforcement, fear free training.

Programs

Puppy Day School, for puppies from 8 weeks to 6 months, covers basic manners, socialization and training. Puppy Head Start is a 6-week clicker training course for puppies 8 weeks to 4 months that starts with an orientation without puppies and moves through no jumping, crate training, targeting, sit, stay, settle, loose leash walking and recall. Group classes include basic manners, Reactive Dog, Fear Free Veterinary Visits and puppy socialization, and a 45-minute Environmental Exposure & Enrichment class helps fearful puppies and dogs build confidence around new objects, people, surfaces and noises. Private in-home lessons, behavior consultations, dog and child safety and customized plans are also offered, along with full and half day daycare and boarding.
