About Happy Paws Missoula
Boarding, daycare and training on Miller Creek Road
Happy Paws in Missoula is a dog boarding and daycare facility up Miller Creek Road, run by owner Teresa Cutler. She is an experienced dog trainer and dog breeder and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Pet Professional Guild (PPG). She worked at a boarding kennel and as a dog trainer assistant and then a dog trainer before settling in Missoula, and she breeds Tamaskan dogs and Hedlund Huskies.
The training program
Training is an add-on to daycare and boarding. It runs for six weeks, one day per week, for $300. Mornings focus on obedience work and afternoons on enrichment activities that build focus, and owners get videos, written handouts and photos. Dogs also get group play time on their training day.
Boarding and daycare
Daycare is $28 per day or $18 for a half day, with fenced areas and hiking on the property. Boarding is $55 per night, $30 for each additional dog and $65 for specialty care, in indoor, temperature-controlled kennels. Staff are certified in pet first aid, CPR and emergency care through Montana K9 Safety.
