About Blue Sky Behavior
Help for fear and aggression
Blue Sky Behavior in Missoula focuses on dogs showing aggression, reactivity, fear and anxiety, along with support for their guardians. Mariah Scheskie, CDBC, says she is one of just two IAABC Certified Dog Behavior Consultants in Montana, and that treating fear and aggression is all she does. Her work takes a big-picture approach, and programs include extensive personal attention, emotional support, and coaching between sessions.
Services
A Behavior Consultation is the suggested first step: it looks at the root causes of a dog's behavior and gives a management and safety plan and next steps. Fear & Anxiety Packages help dogs afraid of strangers, other dogs, loud noises or the outdoors, and dogs from cruelty or neglect situations. Reactivity & Aggression Packages cover multi-dog household conflict, stranger- or dog-directed aggression, conflict with children, resource guarding and leash reactivity. Other options include 1:1 coaching sessions, small dog solutions and an email and text support subscription.
