About Holland K9
Holland K9 Services has provided training in and around Charlotte since 2008, from an Equipment Drive address. The business was formed when two earlier Charlotte businesses, K9 Hangout Charlotte and Dogmatic Training, merged under the Holland K9 name, and the site states it no longer offers boarding or daycare – training is the whole business now.
Programs and published prices
Three tiers are published with their costs. Pet Dog Obedience and Problem Behaviors is $1,500 for a ten-week program with no prerequisite. Service and Therapy Dog Training is $1,500 to $3,000 if the client provides the dog, or $3,500 to $10,000 for a dog provided by the business. Working Dogs run $5,000 if the customer provides the dog, up to $25,000 for one of the business's own, with training described as ongoing and covering home protection through to commercial and government clients; the pet obedience program is the prerequisite where a client brings their own dog.
What it says it handles
The published behavior list is aggression, fearful behaviors, anxieties and inappropriate barking, among others, and the site describes off-leash obedience as the goal: a dog under voice command at home or in public. Programs are guaranteed for the life of the dog.
Who it’s best for
Best for an owner who wants a priced, fixed-length obedience program, or a service, therapy or protection dog from a business that publishes what each costs.
