About Hollywood Dog Obedience Club

What they offer

Hollywood Dog Obedience Club has trained dogs in Griffith Park for over 75 years, and its motto is training you to train your dog. Classes are held weekly near the corner of Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive, by the tennis courts and swimming pool, and you do not need to be a member to join.

Classes

– **Novice obedience:** eight-week sessions that run back to back through the year on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, covering heeling, sits, downs, stays, behaving in a group, stand for examination and recalls. The first class is an orientation.

– **Puppy development:** group classes that start any Saturday.

– **Advanced and rally:** advanced novice, an introduction to obedience competition and beginning open obedience, plus rally, on Saturdays.

– **Canine Good Citizen:** CGC and CGCA testing during the Saturday novice orientation week.
