About Incredible Canines LLC

Fear Free training and behavior consulting in Newfane

Incredible Canines is a dog training and behavior consulting business on Timson Hill Road in Newfane. Its Fear Free Certified trainers offer private in-home training, puppy and adult dog enrichment and assistance dog training using Atlas Certified methods. The approach is choice-based learning: minimize aversive stimuli, maximize reinforcers and give dogs structure through clear information, marking and motivation, on the principle that force has no place in a healthy relationship.

Aggression and behavior

The aggression specialist, Cynthia Wilmot (CDBC, CPDT-KA, IAABC-ADT, FDM, Fear Free), uses a trauma-informed care approach and works with dog-to-dog and dog-to-human aggression and resource guarding. She describes over 15 years of professional experience in dog training and behavior and now also consults for shelters and rescues.

Services

Options include private in-home sessions, custom canine enrichment programs from Dognostics Certified Canine Enrichment Technicians, assistance and therapy dog training with temperament and skill assessments, cooperative care training for grooming and vet visits, a day camp in a mountain farm setting, and board training in a homestead setting with a maximum of two guests at a time. Virtual training and a Puppy Prep Program are also offered.
