About Jabula Dog Academy
What they do
Jabula Dog Academy publishes a broad menu: private lessons, group lessons, classes, training camps, workshops, consulting, day play daycare and boarding. The class schedule is published openly and registration is seat-limited.
How they work
The academy's framing is that the problem is usually communication, not the dog: “Your dog isn’t ignoring you because they’re stubborn. They’re confused because the signals aren’t clear.” The stated method is to help owners understand their dog's “unique boundaries and limitations,” then work within that framework so training becomes a partnership rather than a struggle. Published outcomes are ordinary-life ones — walking past distractions without pulling, polite greetings instead of jumping, settling on cue, listening the first time, off-leash reliability in safe spaces, and calm responses to other dogs.
Day play and boarding
Day Play passes run from a one-day pass at $37 up to a thirty-day pass at $850, with sibling rates for multiple dogs from the same household. Boarding is charged per night with no early or late pick-up fees, and the academy states it has no spay or neuter requirement, asking only that an intact female who comes into heat during her stay goes home early. Boarding cancellations need 48 hours' notice for account credit.
