About JDP Dogtraining LLC

Personal training in Loxahatchee

JDP Dog Training LLC is a Loxahatchee dog training business run by trainer Jonathan Poltrock. He focuses on building the relationship between owners and their dogs through clear, consistent communication, and describes the methods as positive reinforcement tailored to each dog. Each program starts with a consultation where he meets owner and dog and judges which program fits.

Programs

In the board and train, a dog stays with Jonathan at his home for a set period while he works on obedience and on issues such as anxiety, aggression or separation problems. It ends with a go-home session and lifetime phone support. Puppy education covers sit, down, the beginning of stay, recall and heel, socialization, loose leash walking, crate training and potty training. Basic obedience builds reliable responses with light distractions, and advanced obedience works all commands on a 20-foot leash in public. Off-leash training introduces e-collar use for off-leash recall and heel. In-home sessions cover potty training, socialization and behavior, and group classes are offered for basic obedience. Service dog training and behavioral consultations are also on the menu.
