About JoyDog Training

What they offer

JoyDog Training, formerly Collaborative Canines, offers private dog training and K9 Nose Work classes in Huntington Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Irvine and surrounding Orange County cities. The trainer, Mara, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and behavior consultant with over nine years of experience and a special interest in high-energy herding and working breeds.

Programs

Private training covers manners and obedience, puppy training, and leash reactivity for dogs that bark and lunge on walks. Jumpstart programs give a dog one-on-one time with the trainer, and virtual training is also offered. Nose work classes teach a scent game that suits shy pups and excitable dogs alike.

Method

Training uses positive reinforcement and force-free strategies, with support between sessions built into every package. An intro call is the first step.
