About World Of Dog Training

What they offer

World of Dog Training is a veteran-owned dog training company whose founder and head trainer, Ryan Matthews, runs its Huntington Beach and Newport Beach operation. He has trained dogs since 2002 and began with military working dogs in the Army.

Programs

Private one-on-one lessons address specific behaviors in person, and most lessons run one to two hours. An all-inclusive board and train program has the dog live with a trainer, and the company also sells on-demand video courses. The stated goal is a dog that is obedient off leash, even with distractions, and that can join the owner on hikes, at cafés and at work.

Method

The company describes its approach as modern balanced training that teaches owners to read their dog's body language.
