Kandy's Kritter Kare Consulting is a Salt Lake City pet care and training business that has been in business since 2000. It offers dog training and behavior management, cat behavior management, pet sitting and some specialty services. Training and behavior work covers Salt Lake, Weber, Utah and Summit counties, with phone consultations available, while pet sitting covers metro Salt Lake City, including the Avenues, Millcreek and Sugar House areas.

About the owner

Owner Kandy Thomas has worked closely with dogs and cats, studied animal and human behavior, and developed her own training techniques. She managed a local veterinary clinic as lead technician, so she can offer nursing care such as wound care, fluids and medications during pet sitting. Her background in psychology helps her coach people, including children, to train their own dogs while having fun. The mission is to educate owners in animal care and behavior so they build a lifelong bond of trust with their pets.
