About Kovas’s Legacy Dog Training

What they offer

Kovas's Legacy is a dog training business headquartered in Roy, founded in 2023. It provides private training tailored to the individual dog for owners who want help with basic to advanced obedience, problem behaviors, or service dog assessment and training.

Programs

Private lessons cover obedience and behavior modification. The service dog program includes psychiatric service dog training. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen classes and group options for obedience titles are offered, and community meetups at events and outings let current and former client dogs practice in public.

Approach

The trainer follows least intrusive, minimally aversive practices as a balanced trainer who recognizes that training tools help some dogs, and sees training as teamwork in which the owner learns to build a working relationship with the dog. Group class dates are posted when announced.
