About Lifelong Dogs

Training for healthy, lifelong dogs

Lifelong Dogs is a Boise dog training business built around the idea of "Dog Training For Health." It blends canine psychology, wellness and balanced training methods, aiming for a confident, connected dog. Its trainer credits a Fowler K9 Academy internship, Petco Dog Training accreditation, Canine First Aid and CPR training and work as an American Kennel Club evaluator, and has hands-on experience in obedience, scent detection, protection sport and service dog work.

Programs and prices

Every program starts with a required consultation. The Foundations is a 6-week package for $800 covering potty training, name recognition, crate comfort, leash manners, recall and heeling. The Tune Up is a 4-week package for $575 for dogs with some basics. Advanced, a 4-week program for $650, takes skills into the real world and addresses reactivity, fear, over-excitement and impulse control. Sessions are held in client homes or at a designated location. Board and train runs 4 to 8 weeks in the trainer's home, priced after a consultation. AKC CGC Prep is $300, including the test, and boarding for current clients is $75 a day. Group classes are offered as well.
