Petco Dog Training at the Boise Federal Way store, 3548 S Findley Ave in Boise, runs in-store group classes and private lessons. Training hours run daily into the evening.
Group classes
Each group course is six hour-long weekly classes with up to four other dogs, at $149. Puppy is for 8 to 16 weeks and covers potty training, socialization and foundational cues like sit, down and come. Beginner, for 16 weeks to 6 months, adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait and tricks. Fundamentals, for dogs 6 months and older, covers the core cues, loose-leash walking and curbing jumping and barking. Advanced works on heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.
Private lessons
Private sessions are 45 minutes with a certified trainer and a customized training plan. New customers can book a $39 Private Lesson 101; packages are $249 for 4 sessions and $329 for 6.
