Ashley Devine's Boise practice

Mannered Misfits Dog Training is a Boise training business owned by Ashley Devine (they/them). Ashley is a Professional Dog Trainer, holds a Fear Free certification in animal shelter and rescue, has worked with dogs since 2015 and spent six years at the Idaho Humane Society in Boise. Their training is positive reinforcement based, using the Humane Hierarchy and Dr. Eduardo Fernandez's LIFE approach (least inhibitive, functionally effective), with an emphasis on safety, empathy and trust.

Services

Every client starts with a 45-minute virtual behavior consultation by phone or video. In-person coaching takes place in clients' homes in Boise, Garden City, Eagle, Meridian and Hidden Springs, within about 25 minutes of Boise's North End, and virtual training is open to clients anywhere in the country. Day training sessions of 45 minutes are available after a consultation and one coaching lesson. Dog walking and drop-in visits are offered too.
