About Mosaic Dog Training

Force-free teaching from Watertown

Mosaic Dog Training, LLC is located in Watertown and describes its work as family dog mediation: helping dogs and their guardians understand each other. The trainer uses only science-based, force-free techniques and looks at a dog's learning history, environment, genetics and individual self before building a plan.

Puppies and new dogs

Puppy Home School is a package of three private lessons for puppies up to 4 months old, covering basic behaviors and general puppy care. A Pre-Adoption Consultation helps families prepare before a new dog arrives, and the Right Paw Plan covers the first days, weeks and months after bringing one home.

Private lessons and workshops

Private lessons are by appointment, starting with an initial consultation that can be in person or split into Zoom or phone sessions. Team Building Basics group workshops are also offered.

Who it is for

The site says it does not train dogs that are aggressive, have a bite history, guard resources or show signs of separation anxiety, and asks owners of those dogs to consult their vet.

What to ask

Ask whether a puppy package or private lessons fits your dog, which sessions can be done by Zoom, and whether travel fees apply to your address.
