About Mr. Dog Training’s Canine Enrichment Center

What they offer

The West Gardiner location of Mr. Dog Training is home to its Canine Enrichment Center, where dogs can book private play sessions. Trainer Sara Sokol teaches relationship-based, holistic training focused on a dog's emotional state, communication, canine body language and practical skills.

Classes and private training

In-person skills and enrichment classes run at the West Gardiner facility, with virtual classes over Zoom that are interactive and recorded for students. Private training is offered in person at West Gardiner or virtually. Owners of dogs that bark, lunge or pull toward people, dogs or cars are asked to enroll first in a reactive dog course membership before private sessions.

Approach

The site says training should be fun for dog and owner alike and avoids punishment, corrections and shouting.
