About Naples Dog Academy

Positive in-home training in Naples

Naples Dog Academy is an in-home dog trainer in Naples that cites over 25 years of professional experience. It serves Naples, North Naples, Golden Gate, Pelican Bay, Park Shore, Naples Park, Vineyards and Bonita Springs, starting in the home and moving into outdoor and public spaces as the dog progresses.

Method

Training is 100% positive and reward-based, grounded in classical and operant conditioning and the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach. It cites certifications from programs including Dunbar Dog Academy, the American Kennel Club and the Pet Professional Guild.

Programs

Services include in-home puppy and behavioral consultations, puppy foundations, obedience from basic to off-leash, AKC STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen preparation and evaluation, and behavior modification for reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, fear and noise phobias. Family and child education, nose work, tricks, help choosing a puppy or rescue, and virtual coaching are also offered.
