About No Limits Kennels

What they offer

No Limits Kennels describes itself as "a full-time, full-service and licensed boarding and basic training kennel in the heart of Kansas," located about 7 miles northwest of Great Bend in Heizer. Its training page lists three programs: a foundation obedience program for all breeds, gun dog development, and hunt test prep and handling.

Programs

The foundation program covers here, sit, stay, heel, place and, for pointing breeds, whoa; the page says dogs over 5 months can often learn it in about four weeks, with six weeks common. Gun dog development sets goals by type of dog: quartering and flush work for flushers, steadiness on point and honoring for pointers, and marking, blind retrieves and casting for retrievers. Hunt test preparation covers AKC pointing dog hunt tests and NAVHDA natural ability and utility tests.

Booking

The kennel says it limits the number of training dogs it takes each month and asks owners to book training in advance. Call to confirm current programs and openings.
