About O4K9
Veteran-led training in Moscow
O4K9 is a dog training and boarding business serving Moscow and Latah County, founded by trainer Blake Marretta. Marretta is a United States Marine Corps veteran who served eight years and, beginning in 2015, learned from both Marine Corps and civilian dog handlers, working dogs of many breeds, ages and sizes. His promise to owners: "I don't stop teaching you how to work your dog until you can do it like I do."
Training plans
O4K9 offers tiered plans, each with equipment included. Bronze ($1,050, 5 weeks) covers management, loose-leash walking, the place command and kennel, crate and potty training. Bronze Plus ($1,100, 6 weeks) adds basic commands. Silver ($1,250, 7 weeks) and Silver Plus ($1,400, 8 weeks) are off-leash prep plans with puppy foundations, positions, recall and work in public places. Platinum ($2,300, 12+ weeks) runs through off-leash obedience. Reactive Rehab, priced individually, addresses lunging, growling, nipping and biting toward dogs, people or objects, plus resource guarding. Custom plans are available.
Boarding
Boarding is $50 a night for the first dog, $40 for a second and $20 for a third, and dogs are let out, walked, worked and played with several times a day.
