About Palouse River Kennels

What they offer

Palouse River Kennels on Tidwell Road near Palouse is a boarding and training facility in southeastern Washington offering boarding, obedience training, gun dog training and dog washing, on 30 acres with runs for large and small dogs and a grassy exercise yard.

Obedience training

Obedience training is offered for all breeds, on and off leash, in three forms. In-kennel obedience training builds a custom program around the dog and owner: the dog lives and trains at the kennel for a month, the owner gets a printed list of commands and weekly progress check-ins, and three follow-up appointments after pickup help the training carry over. Hourly obedience sessions can be added during a boarding stay to work on targeted behaviors, and private obedience training is arranged by appointment for one-on-one time with the owner and dog.
