Meet Michael Bishop

On Cue K9 Training Systems is the practice of Michael Bishop, a professional dog trainer in Little Rock. He describes over a decade of experience, more than 1,000 dogs trained start to finish, and more than 3,000 individual training sessions. He is the author of two dog training books, including his Egnition curriculum, a progressive method he also teaches to other trainers. He lists work with 6 different police agencies and sheriff departments, and says he is a certified IGP helper, a member of PSA, an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and an AKC Trick Dog Instructor and AKC Urban CGC Instructor.

Programs

The Dream Dog Program is a 4 to 5 week board and train covering sit, down, place, recall, loose-leash walking, door, food and people manners, and on-leash and foundational off-leash reliability, followed by a go-home lesson and 3 follow-up private lessons. The Puppy Foundations board and train runs 3 to 4 weeks and focuses on engagement, calm behavior, crate training and place training. A behavior modification board and train handles severe aggression, reactivity and fear, and requires a consultation first. He also offers Zoom coaching and case consultations for trainers.

Approach

Michael calls his philosophy "gentle, fair, and structured" and describes blending science-based methods with the art of dogmanship. He serves Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Cabot, Benton, Bryant, Hot Springs, Conway and surrounding areas.
