What they offer
Ouray Working Dog Club is a multi-disciplinary dog training club formed in 2015 that trains on its field in Salida, with schutzhund (IGP) as its main focus. Training opportunities include IGP, mondioring, obedience, tracking, scent detection, AKC and UKC obedience and rally, and pet dog training, and the club holds public obedience classes several times a year, plus a drop-in class for graduates of its obedience program.
Good to know
Club training runs on Wednesdays and Sundays, members are expected to help and stay for the whole session, and the club is affiliated with the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, the DVG and American Schutzhund. The club asks visitors to get in touch first in case the schedule changes.
