About Pacific K9 Dog Training

Structured training in Hollywood

Pacific K9 Dog Training is a family-owned dog training business in Hollywood, co-founded by lead trainer and behavior specialist Or Nessim and his wife. Or says his work with dogs began over 15 years ago, training as a teenager, and later included service in an elite combat K9 unit in the military and years of training, competing and mentoring in Schutzhund. He describes his style as calm, clear, structured and purposeful, with an emphasis on balance, clarity and control, and he specializes in obedience, off-leash reliability, behavior modification and aggression rehabilitation.

Programs

The fully immersive Board and Train keeps a dog with the team for a set period of one-on-one sessions and covers heel, sit, down, stay, recall, place, crate and other life skills customized at the consultation, along with socializing and behavior issues. One-on-one private lessons, one of the most popular programs, teach owners the same techniques for advanced obedience, service dog training, reactivity and aggression, on- and off-leash work, puppy training, leash pulling and anxiety. Vacation boarding is offered too.
