Training, daycare and boarding on a Riverside ranch

Pack AMO is a dog daycare, training and boarding business at 1045 Vine Ave in Riverside, set on a 2-acre ranch with 3,000 square feet of indoor space and a climate-controlled geothermal basement. It calls itself a 3-time Iowa City Press-Citizen winner (2022, 2023 and 2025). Staff are certified in dog first aid and CPR, and the ranch keeps one person for every 10 dogs.

Owner and training

Owner and founder Aaron Robinson trained at the Method K9 Institute, where he became a level 4 master trainer. Programs include Day School, a daycare-and-training option, board and train focused on teaching fearful and anxious dogs to cope, group classes and behavior rehab. Boarding is also offered for dogs with aggression, anxiety or fear. New clients fill out an intake form and schedule a meet and greet, and pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is available.
