About Inspirational K9 Training
Obedience training in Iowa City and nearby towns
Inspirational K9 Training serves Iowa City, Coralville, Tiffin and North Liberty. Owner Natasha Laux is a professional trainer and national-level obedience competitor who trains pet and working dogs of all breeds, with a soft spot for Rottweilers. With her Rottweiler Eskin she earned the IGP3 title and won the 2023 USRC IGP National Championship, was named to the USRC team for the 2024 IFR IGP World Championship, and served as team captain for 2025.
Method
Natasha places heavy emphasis on positive reinforcement while setting boundaries and expectations, and tailors every lesson to the dog's pace. She teaches owners to train their own dogs, and for behavior issues such as aggression or separation anxiety she stresses steady, long-term work.
