About Palmetto Creek Kennels & Gundogs

Training, boarding and breeding

Palmetto Creek Kennels & Gundogs, LLC is a full service training, boarding and breeding kennel at 29273 Richardson Drive in Holden. It offers obedience training for medium to large breeds and gun dog training focused on waterfowl and upland bird hunting.

Programs

The obedience program is built for medium to large dogs, purebred or mixed, with the goal of an on-lead and off-lead obedient companion. The gun dog programs can build a basic retriever, an advanced retriever or an upland hunter, and they expose dogs to boats, blinds, dog hides, decoy spreads, gun conditioning and bird conditioning.

The trainer

Its About page names Garret Neale as owner and trainer. It says he trained his first dog at 14 and his first client dog at 16, and that he has trained and handled dogs in AKC and UKC Retriever Hunt Tests and UKC's BDC Upland Tournaments. The kennel also breeds Labrador Retrievers.
