About Pawsitive Behavior Solutions LLC

Behavior consulting in and around Richmond

Pawsitive Behavior Solutions is run by Morgan Krug, CBCC-KA, a Certified Behavior Consultant for Canines and professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. The site says she has worked with dogs in the Richmond area for over 18 years. She trains in and around Richmond and offers virtual consulting worldwide.

What it helps with

The list covers potty training, better manners (greetings with people and other dogs, sit, down, stay), leash walking and reactivity, confidence for fearful dogs, behavior issues including separation anxiety, therapy, ESD and service dog training, and dog sports foundation training.

Virtual consulting and soundboards

Virtual behavior consulting lets her work on a problem in the dog's own home, whatever the location. She also teaches AIC soundboard training, where dogs (and cats) use recordable buttons such as "outside" or "play" to make requests. She has taught buttons since 2020.

Method

The site describes positive reinforcement and "the kindest methods possible."

What to ask

Ask whether your case suits in-person or virtual work, and how a behavior plan is followed up.
