About Peachable Paws, LLC

What they offer

Peachable Paws is a family-owned dog training business based in Palisade. The home page offers behavior consultations that address core issues and end with a clear behavior plan, training sessions to improve communication between people and dogs, and a puppy school.

How they train

The site describes positive reinforcement as crucial to a strong relationship with a dog: reward the behavior you want and ignore the behavior you do not want, a style it says builds trust, respect and love. It says training is not about tough love or who is the leader.

About the trainer

The trainer describes herself as a fully certified dog trainer who has formally studied dog behavior since 2018, drawing on a college education and careers in human behavior-related work.
