Pet Agree Dog Training
Overview
About Pet Agree Dog Training
Training you can both agree on
Pet Agree Dog Training serves Lava Hot Springs and the surrounding area, Tuesday through Sunday. The trainer describes herself as a lifelong dog trainer and owner with over 18,000 hours of dog behavior experience, having started (officially) in August 2000. The focus is practical: a reliable recall and a "freeze" cue for off-leash safety, good public manners, and even teaching a dog to find lost items.
Method
The trainer teaches dogs "in a way in which they understand and enjoy," calling positive reinforcement an amazing motivator, while adding that consequences should also be part of learning.
Plans and prices
Training starts with an initial consult ($50). Private Instruction means weekly sessions where the owner learns to train the dog, with homework; Private Tutoring means the trainer works the dog several times a week, plus weekly connection sessions with the owner. Basic Education covers sit, down, stay, recall, leave it and loose-leash walking, as a 3-week tutoring plan ($910) or a 5-hour instruction plan ($350). A Specified Behavior Modification plan targets one issue such as barking, pulling, bolting or fear and aggression, as a 2-week tutoring package ($585) or a 3-hour private class package ($210).
