About Pet Bazaar NC

Pet Bazaar NC is a boutique dog daycare, boarding and training business at 1140 N Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach. Its whole positioning is the opposite of scale: "Never just a number… we take the time to know each dog's personality, needs, and routines."

The training side

Training is one of three published services, and it has its own content rather than a passing mention. The framing is "positive reinforcement training that builds a real relationship – not just compliance", covering "manners, foundation skills, and behavior work with trainers who know your dog". Under it sit three published tracks. Puppy foundations: "socialization, name recognition, potty and crate confidence, and the essential first cues." Manners and focus: "loose-leash walking, polite greetings, place, wait, and reliable recall in real-world settings." Behavior consults: "personalized plans for reactivity, resource guarding, separation, and other behavior questions." Board-and-train is published as available.

The rest of the business

Daycare is described as "engaging social structures designed to stimulate and satisfy – without overwhelm", and boarding as "overnight stays that mirror the comfort of home with personalized nightly rituals". The site says the environment "is designed to lower cortisol, encourage natural behavior, and provide the quiet confidence of a trusted friend's house".

Practicalities

Published hours are Monday to Saturday 6:30am to noon and 3pm to 7pm, with Sunday boarding 9am to noon by appointment and no Sunday daycare. New clients book an assessment. The business states it is vet-recommended and was a 2025 Nextdoor Fave.
