Classes on S University Dr

Petco store 2559 sits at 1978 S University Dr in Davie and books dog training seven days a week. Its group program runs six weeks of hour-long classes, each class holding at most four other dogs and their people.

Levels

Puppies from 8 to 16 weeks start with potty training, socialization and cues like sit, down and come. Dogs between 16 weeks and 6 months move to Beginner, which adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait, tricks and games. Fundamentals, for dogs 6 months and older, works on core cues and curbs jumping and barking, while Advanced takes on heel, recall amid distractions and greeting people politely. For one-on-one help, the Davie store schedules private 45-minute lessons led by a certified trainer, starting with an introductory goal-setting lesson.
